Last weekend I was asked to photograph Brian McKnight at his concert at Trak Lounge Bar in Melbourne.  He preformed an amazing set and had audience captivated.  I don't think I need to tell people how great the performance was, as all his fans would already know.  But what really fascinated me was how everyone had their phones up filming Brian performing!  Just about half of the audience had their phones out filming... ahhhh modern technology...

Formals! Formals! Formals!  It's currently formals season and I've been busy snapping snapping snapping!  The photobooth has been busy out on formals, and it has been a big hit with the students!  I've got some props from it as well so they are really enjoying it and having fun with photos.  If you're looking for photos, please go to the "Client Login" page and enter the pincode provided to you on the night.  If you do not have a code, please email info@hikari.com.au and I shall organise one for you!

Shani and Eddie got married in Ballarat.  It is always fun to travel somewhere else to photograph a wedding.  I like the idea that it is a nice little country town we'll have great spot to do photos.  Before the wedding, I went around and did a whole lot of scouting for locations.  I found all this great little places in town and nearby the wedding reception area that'd be fantastic for the photos.  But what do you know, just as we were heading off to the ceremony it rained and rained and did not stop raining for the rest of the night.  So with a last minute change of plan, we headed to the Ballarat train station for photos.  When I went for location scouting, I didn't get a chance to go inside and check out the station.  So it was actually kinda exciting for me to just wing it when we got there! We ended up with some great shots on the platform and we all managed to stay dry.

Apologizes for the long delay in updates!  I have been busy shooting weddings all summer and has been a bit slack in updating the galleries.  So I've revamped the gallery a bit and updated with some weddings that I have shot over this summer.  So check it out, and there will be more to come!

I got to fly to Adelaide to shoot Kate & Will's wedding last month.  They had a really intimate ceremony at home with their family and their cute doggy Taco, then we headed out to Burnside Town Hall for their reception.  They had this fantastic 50's look for the wedding, and it was so refreshing to shoot a wedding that's not a "traditional" wedding!  The whole retro theme has given me a chance to create some really stunning and intimate imagery!  I'm so glad I got to shoot the wedding! Thank you Kate & Will!

I did a photo shoot for BMW Doncaster a few months ago and the magazine is finally out!  The shoot was done together Westfield Doncaster in their new personal styling suite.  We got to pick any items from the shops in the shopping centre for the photo shoot, and I had great models to work with (Thanks David!)!  Check out the shots in my commercial gallery!

I have been taking photos for F43 for a while now, and I've really notice their growth as a band in the past couple of years.  They have recently grown from a 2 to 4 piece band and they are sounding better then ever!  They needed some new shots of the whole band together, so we climbed rooftops and roamed the streets of Richmond to get some photos done!
